Andrew Farquhar - Partner
Andrew's commercial experience has been gained in
the UK grocery sector having spent time working in both retail
procurement and sales management.
After university, he joined Sainsbury's as a graduate trainee
before joining Wm Low as a buyer. During his time at Low, Andrew
cut his negotiating teeth working with suppliers to develop the
range and profitability of several key categories which eventually
led to his first people management role leading a team of buyers
and their major negotiations.
Following the acquisition of Wm Low by Tesco, Andrew decided to
experience life on the other side of the negotiating table and
joined Scottish Courage Brands where he spent time honing his
commercial skills in national account management, internal sales
operation and Director of Sales roles.
Since joining Scotwork in 1997, Andrew has worked with and
advised a wide range of clients within the media, financial
services, FMCG and luxury goods sectors on a series of UK and
worldwide projects. Andrew was made Partner in 2003 and takes joint
responsibility for managing Scotwork Ireland.
